R-307 2-Axis LCD and R-307V Large-Number LED Readouts


DESCRIPTION

The R-307 is a compact, digital LCD readout that displays vertical and horizontal center or angle readings in one of three user-selectable resolutions: .001", .0001" or .01 mm. The numeric value represents the position of the laser plane relative to the target centerline. A positive reading indicates that target is above the laser plane, while a negative reading indicates that the target is below the laser plane. The R-307V offers the same features but with a large-number display that can be seen from 50 feet (15 M) away.

The unit has settings for two levels of response time. The FAST setting shows the actual target reading without electronic dampening. The SLOW setting electronically dampens or averages the readings to reduce fluctuations caused by atmospheric turbulence, vibration, or other disturbances. The readout is powered by a rechargeable 9-volt battery or by an AC charger/adapter, making the unit portable and easy to use in any environment for up to 8 hours. An LED on the side indicates when the battery is low. Another LED on the face plate blinks to indicate that the laser beam is on target.

APPLICATIONS

  • For use with all straight-line lasers (L-700, L-701, L-705, L-720, L-720M)
  • Compatible with the following targets: T-212,
    T-218, T-261A (requires adapter cable), A-510, and A-517.
  • Can also be used with the T-251 Scanner Preamp for continuously rotating lasers.

DESCRIPTION
The Model R-308 is a portable, single-axis, digital readout, used with all Hamar Laser continuously rotating laser systems. It displays the misalignment of the measured surface from the laser plane on an easy-to-read LCD meter. The numeric value represents the position of the laser plane relative to the target centerline. A positive reading indicates that target is above the laser plane, while a negative reading indicates that the target is below the laser plane. The R-308V offers the same features but with a large-number display that can be seen from 50 feet (15 M) away.

The user can select resolutions from .001", .0001", or .01 mm. The unit is powered by an internal, rechargeable 9V battery or by an external AC charger/adapter and will run approximately 8 hours on a charge. FAST response provides direct readings of the target. SLOW response adds electronic damping or averaging to the reading to reduce fluctuations caused by atmospheric turbulence.

DESCRIPTION
The R-1309 is an innovative readout that uses Hamar Laser's Read9 alignment software on a Cassiopeia handheld computer or personal digital assistant (PDA). The R-1309 can display up to 4 A-1519/20 Single-Axis Wireless Targets using a wireless infrared receiver, eliminating messy cabling and multiple readouts. It allows a user to perform many alignment functions with the convenience and portability of a handheld computer. The display screen shows a measurement value for each of the connected targets (letters A through D refer to the corresponding labels on the targets). Each numeric value represents the position of the laser plane relative to the target centerline. A positive reading indicates that target is above the laser plane, while a negative reading indicates that the target is below the laser plane.

The R-1309 can toggle between Absolute (indicating exactly where the laser plane hits the target cell) or Relative modes. In Relative mode, the readout shows the measurement relative to the user-determined zero point. It also shows a display of the difference between two target measurements, a very useful feature for "buck-in," roll alignment and angular measurements, and a graphical display of each target's position relative to the laser plane.

DESCRIPTION

A powerful, pocket-sized readout
The newest addition to Hamar Laser's wireless alignment technology is the R-1310 readout. Combining a PDA with a built-in radio transceiver available in two frequencies, the R-3110 Readout operates with Hamar Laser's A-1519 and A-1520 radio wireless targets and any continuously rotating laser in our product line.

Selectable System ID allows two alignment systems to work side-by-side
The radios employ a frequency-hopping protocol to avoid interference with other radio devices that might be operating at the same frequency. The software allows the selection of different system IDs so that two or more systems can work in the same area and will not interfere with each other.

READ9 software supports eight targets and multiple alignment functions
The R-1310 Readout comes with Hamar Laser's READ9 alignment software pre-installed. READ9 runs under Windows CE™ and displays readings for up to 4 targets in two user-selectable screens. The software includes mode selections for alignment functions, such as setting a laser plane parallel to three points on a surface, graphic displays of the target readings, sample averaging to minimize the effects of air turbulence or vibration, and a data screen that summarizes the target readings.
