The S-600 Sheave Alignment System is the most accurate pulley alignment tool on the market. It combines .0001" internal target resolution with a fixturing system that actually measures from the grooves. This maximizes accuracy and virtually eliminates the inherent errors in other pulley alignment lasers (can be as large as .213") because they either measure from the face or outside diameter of the pulleys.

Sheave (pulley) misalignment occurs when the grooves of the driven and driving sheaves are not parallel or in line. Excessive groove and belt wear causes increased vibration over time, reducing the life of bearings and other machine components. The S-600 restores correct pitch, yaw and groove alignment, allowing full driving torque from the belts. Proper alignment, together with correct belt tension, reduces motor vibration to a minimum, increasing motor performance and reducing maintenance costs.

The S-600 sets up in 5 minutes and can be used with the belts in place. It is cost-efficient, easy-to-use, versatile and has many options available to accommodate a wide selection of sheave sizes and types.
