For basic leveling applications, you won't find a
better, faster or more accurate way of aligning surfaces to earth level
than the L-730 Precision Leveling Laser. That is, of course, unless you
decided to invest in our L-740 Ultra-Precision Leveling Laser, which is
4 times more accurate!
The L-730 was designed for those leveling applications that require about
0.00015"/ft (0.013 mm/M) accuracies or higher. It is an extremely
portable and yet affordable alternative to traditional leveling methods
like theodolites or transits. Its automatically sweeping laser plane and
large-range targets with 0.001" (.025 mm) resolution create a powerful
tool for quickly aligning almost any surface or machine bed .
Very Flat Laser Plane and Highly Accurate Levels
The L-730 Laser produces a laser plane that is flat in a 180º sweep
to within 2 arc seconds (0.00012"/ft or 0.01 mm/M). In a 90º
sweep, the laser plane is flat to within 1 arc second. That means that
under good atmospheric conditions, the L-730 is accurate to +/-0.0006"
(0.016 mm) in 10 feet (3 meters) or +/- .006" (0.15 mm) in 100 feet
(30.5 meters). The L-730 has 2 level vials built right into the laser
that are also accurate to 2 arc seconds.
Live Alignment Data
As with all Hamar Laser products, the L-730 Precision Laser Leveling System
provides live alignment data. This means you can put a target over a jacking
bolt and start adjusting it and the reading automatically updates.
Multiple Targets for Large Applications
You can even use more than one target, which is extremely useful on large
surfaces or machine beds. In fact, there is no limit to the number of
targets that can be used. This allows the use of multiple work crews,
which can really speed alignments.
Minimal Training Needed
The L-730 is so easy to use that it usually only requires 1 day of training,
unless our Plane5 software is purchased, which only adds 1 day of training.
Compared with optics where training can last up to 2 weeks, the L-730
can significantly reduce the time critical technicians are out of action
when being trained.
Wireless
Targets and Readouts
Our 2 new lines of wireless targets eliminate long extension cords for
reference targets. The targets work with all of our continuously rotating
laser plane systems and can be used up to 100 feet (30.5 meters) from
the laser.
The first new target line (A-1531, A-1532, and A-1533)
features: built-in readouts, 0.001" (0.02 mm) resolution and up to
3" (75 mm) of measuring range.
The second line (A-1519, A-1519HR and A-1520) features: wireless communication
to a Cassiopeia PDA (R-1309), which can display up to 4 targets simultaneously,
resolutions down to 0.00002" (0.0005 mm) and up to a 1" (25
mm) measuring range. Other features like electronic zeroing and target
averaging help to speed alignments.
New Targets Can Measure Actual Dimensions
The dimension from the bottom of new targets to the center
of the target cells have been tightly controlled. This allows the targets
to be used with precision inserts to measure actual dimensions from the
laser plane to the surface being measured.
Color
Windows 95/98 Software
The L-730 can also be linked to our new Plane 5 flatness analyzing software.
It is a Windows 95/98 based software that can analyze almost any layout
for flatness or straightness. Plane 5 will even analyze squareness if
used with our squareness lasers (L-743, L-742, L-741, L-733, L-732 and
L-731). Squares, rectangles, frames, circles, rings, and up to 5 sets
of ways can all be easily analyzed with Plane5. The alignment data can
be automatically downloaded by using the A-1519 target and A-908 IR receiver
for the laptop.
