DESCRIPTION
The L-705/706 Bore Laser is a battery-operated, visible
light laser that mounts magnetically, usually in a fixture, and is suitable
for almost all bore applications. Micrometers on the back of the laser
provide precise control over the laser beam. By turning each micrometer
clockwise or counter-clockwise, an operator can adjust the vertical or
horizontal "pointing" of the laser beam within .0001"/
ft. (0.008mm/M) relative to the mounting plane. The L-705 laser will operate
for up to 8 hours on a battery pack with standard, replaceable 9-volt
cells. An AC adapter is provided for continuous operation. The L-705 has
an operational range of 50' (15.3 M) and the L-706 has an operational
range of 100' (30.5 M).
APPLICATIONS
- Hinge line alignment
- Bore alignment of: extruders, cam, cylinder and
crankshaft bores, bar feeders, and turbine bores.
